Why Therapists and Interns Love Working at Your Journey Through
At Your Journey Through (YJT), we believe that therapists do their best work when they feel supported, valued, and connected. That’s why we’ve built a practice that prioritizes not only client care but also clinician well-being. Therapists and interns consistently tell us that YJT feels like a breath of fresh air—offering the structure, support, and freedom they need to thrive both personally and professionally.
Core Values That Guide Us
At the heart of our practice are our core values: authenticity, compassion, collaboration, and continuous growth. We strive to create a workplace where clinicians can show up as their whole selves, contribute their unique perspectives, and grow in meaningful ways.
Authenticity: We encourage clinicians to bring their personality, passion, and clinical voice to their work.
Compassion: We extend kindness not only to clients but to each other—creating a workplace rooted in empathy.
Collaboration: We believe that teamwork enhances therapy outcomes and clinician satisfaction.
Growth: We actively support professional development through training, feedback, and open dialogue.
What Makes Our Work Culture Unique
YJT is more than a group practice—it’s a community. We foster a close-knit, encouraging environment where therapists never feel isolated or overworked. Our team genuinely enjoys spending time together, whether it’s during monthly team dinners, engaging in fun bonding activities, or participating in collaborative case consultations.
We prioritize open communication and actively welcome feedback from our clinicians. Your voice matters here. From suggesting new services to refining our intake process, your ideas are valued and respected.
Our structure supports clinical excellence without the red tape. YJT is a private pay practice, which means no endless back-and-forth with insurance companies. This gives our therapists the autonomy to focus on what truly matters: high-quality, meaningful client work. For clients who use out-of-network benefits, our OON billing concierge team handles claims submissions—so you don’t have to.
Modern Tools for a Modern Therapist
We equip our team with up-to-date tools that make your job easier, not harder:
SimplePractice EHR: Modern and intuitive, with integrated scheduling, telehealth, note-taking, and invoicing.
Electronic Paperwork: From intake to consent forms, our process is streamlined and paperless.
Comfortable Office Space: Our warm, thoughtfully designed office includes cozy, modern furnishings to help both clients and clinicians feel at ease.
Whether you prefer to work in-office or via telehealth, we offer flexibility and options to help you structure your ideal schedule.
Real Perks for Real Work
We believe your work should be recognized and rewarded. That’s why we offer:
Optional yearly bonus structure
Flexible vacation policies and scheduling autonomy
Sponsored training opportunities to deepen your specialties and explore new areas
Compensation for representing YJT at community or networking events
Quality referrals that match your clinical interests and experience
Team meetings and 1:1 support to help you stay grounded and connected
Interns benefit from hands-on experience, frequent supervision, and access to high-quality cases, while also being treated as valuable team members. Whether you're a seasoned clinician or just starting your journey, you'll find encouragement, mentorship, and a strong sense of belonging here.
